Streamlight Polytac LED Flashlight Review
sfcgrazier.weebly.com Streamlights first polymer tactical lights, the PolyTac® and PolyTac® LED, have been rapidly growing in popularity since being introduced at the 2009 SHOT show. Law enforcement and tactical personnel, industrial professionals and outdoor enthusiasts alike appreciate their high light output, combined with compact size, and strong yet lightweight engineering polymer casing. The PolyTac LED features a C4® LED which provides two to three times the output of Super High Flux LEDs. It features a parabolic reflector that produces a concentrated beam with optimum peripheral illumination. The xenon version features a high-performance, 6-volt xenon incandescent bulb, offering exceptional brightness. "The new PolyTac and PolyTac LED are perfect when weight is an issue," said Streamlight Chief operating Officer Ray Sharrah. "Both lights feature bodies made of high-impact, super tough engineering polymer for exceptional durability as well as bringing each light's weight down to about four ounces. And both are super bright the PolyTac LED, for example, generates up to 4500 candela peak beam intensity and 120 lumens of measured system output, which is as bright as some heavier aluminum tactical lights." Both lights use two 3-volt lithium batteries, which have a shelf life of 10 years, and measure 5.22 inches in length. The lights are available in black, coyote, and yellow.
